Castrated free-range cats come home with significantly fewer injuries, because uncastrated animals have a significantly larger radius outside and are therefore unfortunately more often involved in traffic accidents.

However, there is one little thing you should keep in mind after castration — weight gain. Some animals become calmer and therefore no longer consume as much energy as before. Here, we recommend that the amount of food and, if necessary, the type of food be adjusted.
